Winemaker in the heart of Marche, in Castelplanio One Grape Variety: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.
A 40 years old vineyard stretched on the hill of Monte Deserto, at 350 msl.
The strong will of a family to carry on the tradition linked with the innovation, guided by the fondness for wine as a whole.
Their philosophy is to give birth to different wines from one single grape variety, extolling the versatile traits of this powerful grape.
The winery was born in 1973 from the passion of the grandfather Umberto Socci had for viticulture; his son Pierluigi immediately followed him and from then on every member of the family, in one way or another, became part of it.
Socci corporate identity has always been linked to the place where their wines are born, MONTEDESERTO.
Castelplanio is located in the center of the Classic production area of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi; hence the choice to grow only Verdicchio grapes so as to obtain only wines vinified in purity.

- All stages of production are handled directly by the family, from work in the vineyard to winemaking and manual bottling
- Due to the excellent exposure of the vineyard no use of antibotritics,
- No herbicides are used and all the work to control the herbs is carried out mechanically and directly by the family between the rows.
